Seemingly to coincide with his upcoming live-action debut in Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., the next motion comic from Shout! Factory and Marvel Knights Animation will feature Deathlok, and see him take on Wolverine in Jason Aaron and Ron Garney's Wolverine: Weapon X: Tomorrow Dies Today.

The future is controlled by a malevolent mega-corporation known as Roxxon — which keeps its tight grip on society through the use of cyborgs, the Deathloks, whose sole purpose is to seek out current and future vigilantes — and neutralize them with extreme prejudice. Now, in order to prevent Roxxon's rise and the eventual slaughter of the world's heroes, Wolverine must join forces with a mysterious woman possessing unexplained knowledge of the coming dystopia. He won't give up until the Deathloks are stopped, but what hope is there to prevent a future that has already come to pass?

The DVD will be released on May 13, 2014.

Can't lie...after watching all 3 or 4 seasons (can't remember how many) of Astonishing X-Men on Netflix, I kind of enjoy the whole motion comic concept. The art is really fun to look at but thats assuming they keep choosing books that have amazing art. Im definitely going to check this one out.

I saw "WOLVERINE WEAPON X" and almost got excited thinking that James Mangold announced a new Wolverine flick.

Motion Comics = Major CRAP
Why waste the money on production of them?
Save the money from 2-3 of them and bring out a REAL Marvel animated event.

Motion comics are not terrible, but they are lame compaired to a regular animated movie. I could see if they put one out inbetween other animation projects but thats all they do these days. Except that shitty Iron man and Hulk one that sucked butts. If yoru going to do Wolverine do a movie version of what we would have seen in season 3 of Wolverine and the X Men. It must be the house of mouse making them do shitty motion comics because they want animation for kids only. Damn kids.
