Hummmmmm he looks funny with the wig but, I'll see where this goes. Josh ia am awesome actor and Spike a great director. The original was bad ass I hope this keeps the same badassness especially with the hallway fight with the hammer.

Anyone who hates on this movie might as well hate on The Departed too since its a remake of an asian movie.

The one thing I like to know is this Brolin after he gets out of the room prison he was in for like 15 years or before cuz if its after good god do some sit-ups but is its before are they gonna take like 2 months off so he can get in shape like they did with the original movie and manga and I trust Spike Lee to do it right

@lokibane Well Total Recall was an American remake of an American film that many American viewers were already familiar with and enjoyed, so yeah I agree that one didn't need to be remade. But most American viewers weren't familiar with Infernal Affairs when The Departed came out(myself included) and it turned out to be a great adaptation of a previously told story that just happened to change the setting from Hong Kong to Boston. Same thing with Apocalypse Now and Heart of Darkness.

I know its easy to dismiss this movie cuz the original kicked so much ass brolin is a solid actor, i mean he made jonah hex as good as he really could have. And spike lee has his heart in this and will probably honor the source material and the guy is a great director especially for a knicks fan. I have a lot of faith that this movie could be as good as kill bill.

Now that I think about it I really wish Tarantino was making this

The Korean version was a re-imagined version of a Japanese comic with completely different names, settings and very different plot points to the original comic.

So this American version is basically on the same level except they're going to stay closer to the original comic plot.

People thinking it's just a remake of the Korean movie simply don't get it. The Korean movie is great but it was just their adaptation of the comic and it was as accurate as making Batman with an all Latino cast, set in Mexico with his parents being killed on a boating trip!

These amateur reports need to stop spreading the propaganda and hit on the facts. Stop using that ridiculous photoshopped picture of Josh Broliin with Choi Min‑sik's hair because there are idiots here who think that's really him wearing a wig! And stop calling it a remake of Oldboy when it's not. Oldboy is the Korean name for their version, the comic and Spike Lee's adaptation is called Old Boy.

Another pointless remake of a film that was already perfect. WHY? If you're too retarded to read just watch the dubbed version. Spike Lee thinks he can make this better? He sucks. His only good film was Malcolm X. Over this.
