DETECTIVE PIKACHU Social Media Reactions Point To Good Things To Come For Live-Action POKEMON Universe

Avengers: Endgame is expected to break countless box office records this weekend but by the time May 10th rolls around, the Marvel Studios movie will have strong competition from Detective Pikachu. The first-ever live-action Pokemon movie has a lot of positivity surrounding it, but does it finally break the video game movie curse?

Well, based on this first wave of social media reactions, it sounds like the answer is a resounding yes!

However, it's important to note that while these are trusted journalists, they've been flown to Japan and wined and dined by Legendary Pictures, so their opinons may have been skewed somewhat (that's something we've seen happen with countless social media reactions in the past, particularly when a studio flies writers out to exotic locales or exciting press events).

With any luck, though, these are accurate, because Detective Pikachu being a hit means that the door will be open to both sequels and more Pokemon adventures in a live-action setting.

O.T: stay off YouTube. They have spoilers on there with scenes and the title gives it away.
