There were rumblings that Bill Murray might have a role in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, with the Ghostbusters legend later confirming his involvement. Since then, we've heard a few different suggestions for who he might play, but the actor has now dropped another intriguing detail.
Around the 4:00 mark in the video below, he's asked what superpowers he has in Peyton Reed's highly anticipated threequel, responding only with: "My power is I'm a bad guy [Laughs]."
The main rumour right now is that Murray has been cast as a little-known character from The Incredible Hulk #156 called Krylar. That issue followed the Jade Giant on a trip into the "Micro-Verse" where Krylar (who also died in this issue) was revealed as a subservient scientist to his planet's despot ruler. With a machine capable of generating the physical embodiment of someone's greatest fear, he kept the Hulk at bay with an out-of-control Green Goliath that terrified Bruce Banner.
That all sounds pretty villainous to us, so we're betting Murray probably will play Krylar in the Quantum Realm. How that's going to tie into Kang the Conqueror and the time Janet Van Dyne spent there is impossible to say at this early stage, but it could be a fun role for the actor to sink his teeth into.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released on July 28, 2023.
