ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Final Trailer Features More Ghost; Character From ANT-MAN Confirmed Not To Return

The awesome final trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp has been released and it reveals more about Ghost. Meanwhile, a character from Ant-Man has (understandably) been confirmed not to appear in the sequel.

Ant-Man and The Wasp is right around the corner and now the sequel's "final" trailer has been released. There's not a huge amount of new footage here but we do get some very interesting hints about what's in store for Ghost as well as some fresh footage of the villain in action. Luis also tells a pretty funny story about Morrisey so it appears as if we should expect to hear his music in the sequel.

In related news which probably won't surprise you, costumes supervisor Ivo Coveney was recently interviewed on the set of the movie and asked if he's worked on the Yellowjacket suit. As you'll no doubt recall, the villain died at the end of the first movie and while his bones were quite clearly crushed, some fans have theorised that he could be trapped in the Quantum Realm with Janet.

Nope! "In the script that I’ve seen him, he’s not in our film," he confirms. "I don’t know whether we see him again at any point." My guess is that we don't but Hank, Scott, and Hope will have plenty to keep them busy. Anyway, check out the new trailer and let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

The MCU is the best TV show in theaters. Even the filler episodes are worth watching.

@Spock0Clock - I was thinking that the other day .Since the main story is about the Infinity Stones anything else is basically a filler. Which means Civil War despite being one of the greatest CBM ever, was basically a filler episode.Unbelievable .Truly great franchise

@Spock0Clock - Somebody should actually try to cut all the movies after Avengers 4 comes out into a singular episodic series. It would cut terribly but would still be fun to watch.

@ScionStorm - There's already one that exists. This is version 11 of their current edit and it has everything except IW.

I watched it before IW came out for my MCU re-watch. It was about 35 hours, IIRC.

@MrCamw1 - I always wonder how they managed to have Paul and freaking Michael Douglas to do this, but then i remember it's freaking Michael Douglas screaming ANTS twice while the music rises and Paul screams the title lol. How could this not work? lol

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Not only that, but that Lawrence Fishburne’s Goliath is too. I got a funny feeling we’re gonna get a battle of the Wasps and a battle of giant men.

Like what I saw, but what a terribly cut trailer. MCU trailers have been on point lately, but this one, besides what it showed in the clips, was shitty in my opinion.

Just in case that was confusing, I liked the footage that I saw, just not the way it was cut together and with that music.

I'm really excited for this movie...think its guna surprise alot of people how good it is... and to think... the first one got trashed on and yet is still better than 95% of the DCEU movies (coming from a DC fan as well)

@MotherGooseUPus - I think the trashing stopped once people actually saw the movie and let the whole Edgar Wright thing go.

@MUTO123

I liked the first movie. Still think Edgar could’ve delivered a top tier CBM.

MotherGooseUPus - 6/20/2018, 5:49 AM
@MUTO123 - agreed. I'm not sure his version would of been awhole lot better or not...but i really enjoyed the first one...very underrated imo. This one looks a lot better and i'm excited to see where it goes and how it links to IW and those affects

They're playing a ton of this movie close to the chest. They've shown just enough to get people excited but you can tell they don't even want to tease what happens in the third act because they've held out almost every shot from it.

I'm so pissed this is not going to be released here until August. Damn world championship.
