While not as large in scale as many other Marvel films, 2015's Ant-Man won the hearts of audiences with a whimsical story and humourous characters. One of these hilarious additions was Micheal Pena as Luis, one of Scott Lang's criminal associates who stole many a scene with his fast-talking antics.

The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that the actor will be reprising his role in the sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp. The publication has also seemingly confirmed that the film will begin shooting next year. Paul Rudd (Scott Lang) and Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne) are set to return as the two title characters, while Michael Douglas is expected to reprise the role of Hank Pym. Peyton Reed will return to direct, with a script from Reed, Rudd, Adam McKay, Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.

Reed previously teased that there was a "fighting chance" that Lang's team would return, along with the film having Lang as a "bigger fugitive now" after the events of Captain America: Civil War.

Are you excited to see Luis again? Sound off below! Ant Man and The Wasp releases July 6, 2018.

See I really like this character but I hate Darci who is basically the same kind of character, I wonder why? Maybe because I'm woman hating, sexist misogynist shitlord. But hey at least I'm not racist.

@Chaos200 - Meh, I didn't see a problem with Darcy in the first Thor film, given the context. It was when she returned for the second film with a sidekick character of her own that I was done. Hopefully Pena doesnt get the same treatment.

Love Michael Pena in this movie, was also the best character in End Of Watch.

Kudos to the writers in making his character into art and culture.

Also I watched Imperium, a good film with an interesting subject.
A bit rushed towards the end, it could have done with being longer.

@PesciGotPepsi -

I imagine it was the type of people depicted in the film, just writing really racist stuff and upset that the bad guys were white.

I did like the film but should have been a bit longer as the ending felt rushed.
