New ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Set Photos Reveal Hope Van Dyne's Helmet And Wings

Ant-Man and The Wasp is currently shooting in Atlanta and now some new photos from the set of the movie have surfaced showing off Hope Van Dyne's (Evangeline Lilly) cool new costume in all its glory...

Ant-Man and The Wasp is shaping up to be one of 2018's most exciting superhero movies and a big part of that is because Evangeline Lilly will finally be suiting up alongside Paul Rudd's Scott Lang. Marvel Studios has already released an official image of the actress in costume but set photos have now provided an even better look at that alongside the helmet she will be wearing in the sequel.

If you take a close look at some of the shots of Lilly from the side, you'll also notice her wings. They appear to translucent in nature and that matches up with The Wasp's comic book counterpart.

Mail Online hasn't provided any additional details about what exactly Lilly was up to on set but it's clear the character is going to have a major role in the movie. With the plot expected to revolve around the hunt for her mother, Janet Van Dyne, that probably won't come as too much of a surprise and Marvel will hopefully start releasing some official material from Ant-Man and The Wasp
very soon.

@MikeyL - My guess is Janet Van Dyne will still have her costume as seen from the first movie when she returns from the quantum realm. They want the stark contrast in Wasp costumes. But CGI will make it look a bit different as well.

@MikeyL - Lol sir, Marvel's track record speaks for itself. They're going to clean it up in post, and i'm willing to bet a full months rent that the suit is going to light up.

@BloodyBed - She'd snap your neck like french baguette. Have you seen how much she works out? If she slapped you, you'd be peeing blood for 2 weeks.
