ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Promo Art Offers A First Look At Kang The Conqueror's Time Chair

More promo art for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has surfaced, this time offering a first look at Kang the Conqueror's floating Time Chair, something you may recognise from a certain animated series.

While we were first introduced to Kang in Loki's season one finale as "He Who Remains," the MCU's new big bad - Kang the Conqueror - will debut in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania

All signs point to the villainous time-traveller having ties to everything from Shang-Chi's Ten Rings to the Darkhold, but the comic book fans among you will surely be happy to know there are plans to bring Kang's Time Chair to the big screen. Introduced in Avengers #8, many of you may know it best from The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated series.

Kang's special time-drive chair allows the user to travel through time and space, and has advanced laser defensive weapons along with a powerful force shield able to withstand even the most powerful blows.

This is going to look very cool in live-action, and we can definitely picture Jonathan Majors' Kang towering over the Avengers in this thing once he's back to full power. How it will be used in the MCU remains to be seen, but this first glimpse at the device is definitely exciting.

Take a closer look at Kang's Time Chair in the promo art below.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.

Directed by Peyton Reed, the threequel also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17.

@malschla - No no no, Charles has the "Time Chair Mini". Two totally different models. Plus, Charles' chair uses USB-C and Kang's is stuck using only "Thunderport", so then Kang has to use one of those adapters which has USB--C, USB-A and HDMI in it, which I'm guessing is how the Avengers will ultimately defeat him in "A:KD".

@malschla - And Rip Hunter and Metron and that dude from the Time Machine.
All of whom will turn out to be Kang variants anyway. In fact all mutants are Kang variants, that's how they explain mutants.

I'm just glad we're getting Blue-Face Kang. The First Ant-Man released the day my eldest was born, so I feel like it's important to support the trilogy.
