Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will kick off Phase 5 and is a movie that promises to turn the MCU on its head as we head deeper into the Multiverse Saga. Kang the Conqueror will take centre stage in the threequel, but we see a different side of the MCU's latest big bad in these newly released stills.
No longer in his comic accurate costume, the time-travelling villain stares longingly at a device it's thought will be his key to escaping the Quantum Realm.
There's also a great shot of The Wasp (next to a honeycomb-like substance, funnily enough), while Hank Pym wields a weapon not all that different to Star-Lord's Element Guns. We also have a couple of behind-the-scenes photos showcasing Scott Lang and a suited up Cassie.
While many fans have complained that Marvel Studios has shown a little too much from the movie in trailers, this new look at Kang suggests there's an awful lot we haven't seen as well. Hopefully, the Conqueror will be given the chance to shine in a big way come February 17.
Take a look at these new Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania stills in the Reddit post below.
In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
Directed by Peyton Reed, the threequel also stars Jonathan Majors as Kang, David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O'Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz, and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17.
