A recent report indicated that a new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on January 9 (that's yet to be officially confirmed), but in the meantime, we have some new promo art spotlighting several character/costume designs from the Marvel Studios threequel.
The artwork features the villainous Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) in their superhero costumes, and we also get our first full look at Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) in her Stature outfit.
We caught a few glimpses of Cassie suited-up in the first trailer, but this gives us our first proper look at her mask, which is not too unlike her father's.
Director Peyton Reed recently teased Cassie's role, and how her relationship with her father will inform the story.
"Well, Cassie's going to be 18 in this movie, that's great. The whole theme is time and how much time he's missed, and his main motivation is just, 'I want time with my daughter.' And now he's coming into contact with a villain in this movie, Kang the Conqueror, who has dominion over time, and what does that mean to them?"
In Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
