ANT-MAN & THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Promo Art Spotlights Kang And Cassie Lang's Stature Costume

Some new promo art for Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has found its way online, giving us another look at the character designs for Kang the Conqueror and Cassie Lang, aka Stature...

A recent report indicated that a new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on January 9 (that's yet to be officially confirmed), but in the meantime, we have some new promo art spotlighting several character/costume designs from the Marvel Studios threequel.

The artwork features the villainous Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) in their superhero costumes, and we also get our first full look at Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) in her Stature outfit.

We caught a few glimpses of Cassie suited-up in the first trailer, but this gives us our first proper look at her mask, which is not too unlike her father's.

Director Peyton Reed recently teased Cassie's role, and how her relationship with her father will inform the story.

"Well, Cassie's going to be 18 in this movie, that's great. The whole theme is time and how much time he's missed, and his main motivation is just, 'I want time with my daughter.' And now he's coming into contact with a villain in this movie, Kang the Conqueror, who has dominion over time, and what does that mean to them?"

In Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.

Interesting that the graphic says Cassie but not stature. Unless the reveal of her superhero name will be revealed during the movie

One of the promo art things says "Journey Into Mystery", that's where Thor made his debut, not Ant-Man.

If they wanted to be accurate, it should have said "Tales to Astonish".

Also looking forward to Stature but please give her a better and more comic accurate suit later down the line, her suit now is literally Hope's old suit with a new paint job. It could be a reference to Stinger (Cassie's other alter ego in the comics) but who knows?

@FilmGuy7878 - I like how they already had Darren say Ant-Man's exploits were tales to astonish in the first movie.

I do think Journey into Mystery fits better for this movie though, since that's exactly what they will be doing.

@bkmeijer1 - Ah true. The Mystery of the Quantum Realm. Pretty hype if you ask me.

@FilmGuy7878 - right now I'm not that hyped yet, but the trailer will definitely change that next week.

Do wonder if it'll also give us Cassie's superhero name. Based on her look, Stinger does make the most sense.

@bkmeijer1 - Yeah, it was her first alter ego. Then I think after the Young Avengers kicks in, she will become Stature.

I'm mostly hyped because of the creature designs and Kang. I loved the first Ant-Man but Ant-Man and the Wasp was sort of a let down, let's hope this one is as good as the first.

@FilmGuy7878 - I think it'll be more like the second (because of the QR, but also the family dynamics). But I liked that as well, so I don't mind

"A recent report indicated that a new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on January 9 (that's yet to be officially confirmed)"

It was officially confirmed last night to anyone watching the CFP on ESPN. Many commercials saying there will be a new trailer during the National Championship.

That looks more like her costume as Stinger not Stature, is she confirmed to be called Stature?

Well, it's really the high-top sneakers in Cassie's image that sell me on the fact that she's a "KidAnt-Man". Otherwise I would have thought that she was a grown-up, which would have SERIOUSLY impacted my Valentine's Day shopping options for my little girls, because as any of you who have little girls know: superhero girls: cool. Grown-up super-her ladies: BORING. Unless they are a princess. That's a whole other story...

Gusto & all you other perverts need not worry. This cute young lady is fully vetted and well above the Roman Polanski creep scale at age 25.
