Everything Wrong With Marvel's ANT-MAN
With the home video release of the 12th installment in the MCU, Cinema Sins has returned and this time, they have Marvel's Ant-Man in their sights. In '19 Minutes or Less', they'll tell you all the mistakes and head-scratchers in Peyton Reed's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.
Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.
Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip "T.I." Harris, Judy Greer, Michael Douglas, Hayley Atwell and John Slattery. Peyton Reed directed the film. Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish receive story credits while Adam McKay and Paul Rudd join Cornish and Wright for script credits. The character of Ant-Man was created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Larry Lieber. The film released for digital download by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment on November 17, 2015 and released on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and DVD on December 8, 2015. The digital and Blu-ray releases include behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentary, deleted scenes, and a blooper reel.
