IRON MAN's 'Christine Everhart' Reports On 'Scott Lang' In New ANT-MAN Promo Video
The latest viral marketing for Marvel's Ant-Man shows Leslie Bibb once again reprising her Iron Man 2 role as Christine Everhart as she report on Scott Lang's (Paul Rudd) cyber-criminal activities.
It was initially assumed that Leslie Bibb would be reprising her Iron Man role as Christine Everhart in next year's Captain America: Civil War, after the actress had previously teased returning to the character, but it has since been revealed she is actually taking part in the viral marketing for next week's Ant-Man movie. In yet another WHIH World News promo video that cleverly ties the upcoming film to the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Everhart reports on Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and his "cyber-criminal" past while also teasing an "exclusive" interview with the ex-con next week.
It's really cool how Marvel and Disney have established the fictional WHIH News as an actual show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The official Twitter page for the program even acknowledged how Tony Stark would be celebrating the Fourth of July over the weekend. Hopefully this continues with Captain America: Civil War's viral marketing and "Phase Three" overall. What do you think?
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film opens July 17, 2015
