Marvel's ANT-MAN Tops The Korean Box Office For The Second Week Straight
Marvel’s Ant-Man has indeed won the weekend once more in the Korea box office! However, the amount of money it made isn’t quite what you might expect! To get all the numbers, details, and to see how much it dropped compared to last week, hit the jump to check it out!
According to a recent report by Variety, Marvel’s Ant-Man was number one at the Korea Box office for the second week straight! And even though, it won the weekend, it only made $4.91 million between Friday and Sunday. That’s still a lot of money, but it’s also a 40% drop of what the film earned last weekend. Even so, Ant-man has earned $16.8 million from 2.37 million admissions during the first two weeks of its international release.
It’s not bigger than the likes of Avengers: Age of Ultron, or Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World, but it did defeat international films “Veteran” (Ryoo Seung-wan) and “Deep Trap” (Kwon Hyung-jin). Will Ant-Man come out on top for a third week straight? Maybe. But whatever transpires over the course of the week, we’ll keep you updated right here!
