Patrick Wilson In Talks To Join The Cast Of Edgar Wright's ANT-MAN
Watchmen star Patrick Wilson has been a fan favourite choice for the role on Ant-Man for years now with comic book fans, and it has now been revealed that the actor is in talks to join the cast of the Edgar Wright helmed Marvel Studios movie. Who will he be playing? Read on for details...
According to Deadline and various other sites, The Conjuring's Patrick Wilson is set to join the cast of Edgar Wright's Ant-Man. That means he will be joining the already confirmed Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, along with both Michael Pena and Evangeline Lilly (although the latter has yet to make a decision due to the fact that it entails signing up for multiple sequels). The Wrap goes on to add that, "It’s not immediately clear which side Wilson’s character will be on, though Marvel has been searching for another charismatic leading man, a description that fits Wilson." Two options instantly spring to mind here. That of the lead villain in the movie or a young Hank Pym, as Douglas does begin his career as the pint sized superhero in the 1960s. What do you guys think?
