AQUAMAN Actress Amber Heard Shares A New Instagram Image As She Trains For Her Return As Mera
Following her debut in Justice League, Amber Heard will reprise the role of Atlantean Queen Mera in the solo Aquaman movie, and the actress is now training hard for her return to the ocean.
Amber Heard's Mera made a brief appearance in the recent trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League (see above) as she's set to make her debut in that film, but we probably won't see the character fully explored until she joins Jason Momoa as the returning King of Atlantis in James Wan's Aquaman.
With that in mind, Heard is back in martial arts training mode for the role, and has shared an image of herself posing with a sword to her Instagram account.
James Wan directs Aquaman, which will see the King of Atlantis do battle with his villainous half-brother, Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson) as well as Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen). The movie it set for a December 2018 release.
