Warner Bros. has released a new Aquaman featurette, and it contains some awesome behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming DC movie as well as interviews with the likes of director James Wan, Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry), Amber Heard (Mera) and more.

The video gives us a short, but still quite detailed glimpse into the making of the underwater adventure, which is set to hit theaters in just over a month's time.

In addition, several social media reactions to tonight's early screening were shared before being deleted, but the ones we got a look at were very positive. We'll update as soon as the embargo lifts.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.

Aquaman swims into theaters Dec. 14, while the book goes on sale January 1.

Everything about this movie looks fun and exciting. I'm all kinds of pumped up for this.

Practical sets look insane...

Who would have thought a couple years ago that the future of the DC film universe essentially hinged on Aquaman. Crazy

@HeavyMetal4Life - A few years ago, I never could have imagined myself being hyped about the character of Aquaman. But I am. Almost as much as I was back when the first trailer for MoS dropped.

@HeavyMetal4Life - It hinged on the depiction of Superman and it failed. Luckily, I think, the director of WonderWoman gave us WonderWoman, which at least was a pretty good WonderWoman movie.

At the very least, Wan did a great job with the practical sets; those look really good! I still don't like the visuals of this movie underwater (from the footage we've seen), it looks really fake and too much CGI. Its also clear to see that Wan took his experience on Furious 7 with him to this film; the action scenes are very Fast and Furiousy, especially the whole set running across the roof tops.

Ultimately, the question is whether the plot, writing, and dialogue are as good as the sets look. At least Wan clearly has his heart in this film and is proud of what he has been able to create.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I know that a lot of people love his movies, but I thought Furious 7 and The Conjuring were both kind of whelming. He seems like a cool dude, though.

@JamesPunn - I don't care for his horror movies (haven't even seen all of them), and not because I think he's a bad director for them, those types of horror films are just kind of meh. Supernatural force giving you jump scares = meh. Overused, overdone.
But I do really like Furious 7, its the second best Fast and Furious film.

I had a few Twitter reactions and now they've deleted them all! Must have jumped the gun.
