@da2213viking - A Star is Born was released here in New Zealand on DVD / Blu Ray a few weeks back but is still running in most theaters. I guess if a movie has enough traction then they'll run it in theaters as long as they can.

Maybe I'll get this when I get a 4k TV? It's been out forever and I still don't know what I think about the movie

Also this movie was a lot of fun with some cringey over the top parts( acting wise) and just enough cheese to remind me I am watching a comic book movie and not some wanna be high class cinema( looking at you snyder). More good then bad imo

Also, I enjoyed this film. The only glaring issues to me was the acting and dialogue at times. Plot was interesting enough, though. Just a bit of cringeworthy acting.

It's definitely in the Top 3 of the DCEU (IMO).

Anyone notice that synopsis in this announcement is wrong? "The Atlantean child Orin, son to the Queen of Atlantis (Nicole Kidman), was abandoned as an infant and left to die..."

@KingPatel - "It's also now the sixth-highest grossing comic book movie ever, following all three Avengers films, Iron Man 3, and Captain America: Civil War."

Dang...we're just gonna' straight up pretend Black Panther didn't happen?

I didn't care much about the movie in itself, but that huge fighting sequence in Italy where they fight Manta on the rooftops and destroy the village looked un-believable. One of the best action sequences in any CBM, hands down. Top notch CGI as well, which wasn't the case in the entire movie.

Why can’t the 4K cover be the same art as the Blu Ray? That’s such a good cover.
