Aquaman isn't out for another two weeks, but thanks to a strong $94.2 million debut in China, it's already dominating the international box office - which certainly bodes well as it gears up for what's sure-to-be a lengthy box office run through the tail-end of December and into 2019.

The James Wan-directed underwater epic is now Warner Bros.' biggest opener in China ever and has also scored the biggest opening for a DC film ever in the Middle Kingdom, having already topped the entire lifetime gross of both Wonder Woman ($90.4M) and Man of Steel ($63.4M). It will also surpass both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($95.7M) and Justice League ($106M) before the end of the coming week.

Aquaman now has the fourth-largest opening for a superhero movie in China, behind only Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War ($191M), Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron ($155.7M), and Sony's Venom ($107.6M). It is also the fourth-biggest opener of 2018, behind Avengers: Infinity War, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ($111.6M), and Venom.

Warner Bros. has released six new clips from the film, spotlighting Queen Atlanna in battle, Arthur arriving in Atlantis, the treacherous Trench, and a whole lot more!

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
