New AQUAMAN Set Photo Provides A Closer Look At One Of The Villainous Armored Atlanteans

Another image from the set of James Wan's Aquaman movie has made its way online, and it gives us a much better glimpse of the very formidable-looking armor that'll be worn by the villainous Atlanteans...

Last week, a shot from the set of James Wan's Aquaman featured Mera (Amber Heard) being pursued across the rooftops by a pair of Ocean Master's Atlanteans sporting what appeared to be some pretty heavy armor, and now we have a much better look at one of 'em.

The photo was shared to Twitter by The Aquaman Shrine, and provides a far more detailed glimpse of the villain's mech-like armored suit... from the back and side, at any rate. Hopefully we'll get a better look at the whole thing soon.

Aquaman is set to swim into theaters next year.

That's quite an impassioned argument you have.

While Hardy is clearly one of the best actors of his generation, I recall when people said the same thing about Gal Gadot and she has been awesome as Wonder Woman.

Although I just put the artwork up there, I probably wouldn't even go and watch a God Of War film.

@JoeMomma29 - Honestly I don't like the copper tone they're going with. Kind of wish we got those vibrant gold and silver colors from the comics. Even looking at Mera and Aquaman's armor in Justice League it doesn't look royal at all.

In Wonder Woman the Amazonian armor was a nice blend of vibrant and muted. It looked excellent. I was hoping since the Atlanteans have more precious ores and stones the armor would seem more upscale if that makes sense?

It's going to be something nice about going to see a movie that takes place in a warm paradise especially if you're on the north eastern side of the United States at the end of December.

Nice little mental escape which is also why the ending of rogue one was so welcomed

I like the naturally aquatic look it has. Distinctly different from a Kryptononian design. It's so weird that this is the DCEU movie with like zero production hiccups
