As “Aquaman" continues post production in lead up to its December release, rumours are now beginning to circulate as to who may be composing the DC tentpole project.

According to a member of Hans-Zimmer.com, Wonder Woman composer Rupert Gregson-Williams has been tapped to score the film, although we have no official confirmation of that just yet.

“Aquaman” is scheduled for release on December 21, 2018 and sees Jason Momoa reprising the role he has previously portrayed in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and more recently in “Justice League”. James Wan directs with a cast that includes Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison and Dolph Lundgren.

EDITOR'S NOTE (2/12/2018)

It was originally reported, incorrectly, that Harry Gregson-Williams was the composer for Wonder Woman. The company that represents Harry Gregson-Williams was kind enough to point out that Harry's brother Rupert was actually the composer. This post has been updated to reflect this.

You guys don't understand. This man has composed some of the best music in video game history with MGS2, 3 and 4. Just beautiful and epic music, especially MGS4.

@Doomsday8888 - I... legit have no clue if Batman, Flash, or Aquaman even have "theme" songs.

But Wonder Woman's and Superman's are fiyah.

@ICStoopedPeople -
Nope, we didn't got shit in JL, Elfman was too busy recycling his old stuff...even from his old Marvel movies!
Guess we gotta wait for the standalone movies, even for Batman.

Rupert Gregson Williams, Harry's brother, composed the score for Wonder Woman. Harry is more well known with scores for Narnia. I know it says Rupert in the article, but the title says Harry.

@BiggerLuke - Yeah, I like Rupert Gregson-Williams (especialy his collaboration with Zimmer on The Crown), but the idea of Harry Gregson-Williams scoring Aquaman is very exciting. Especially if he brings the Hybrid boys on board to provide additional programming.

So which one is it, Harry or Rupert? Should I be excited or not?

@BiggerLuke - Thank you! This mistake was really bugging the crap out of me!

@BiggerLuke - I don't think Rupert is even mentioned in the article either. Only his brother Harry is mentioned.

@GwenLantern - Outside of Wonder Woman, Ruperts scores are for cheap like Adam Sandler movies. Harry on the other hand gave us some fantastic scores in both film and gaming.
