Who can the villains be?

These unknown villains in The Avengers Teaser Trailer has everyone confused or stumped on who they are. I'm here to see if i can help anyone out there narrow down who the villain could be. Here, i have some things i would like to point out that some of you may not have noticed.

1. To start, in this first picture, you can clearly see that one in the far right has 3 toes. This means that it cant be the ice giants since they have 5, but I can see why people would think these guys could be ice giants since they are blue/ grey.

2. Another point that i made out of this image, was that these unknown villains have a face with horns embedded in their armor on the chests. This gets me thinking if this image in their chests is: Loki with his helmet on (which would mean that that Loki controls them), Fin Fang Foom (since it looks like his face. Especially if you compare the Easter egg image of him in Iron Man 2. Plus the armor that Fin fang Foom has kind of resembles the armor of what the villains have.), or its the face of the Leviathan that we have heard so much about. Also, In this image, the alien all the way to the far right(once again) has long webbed toes in his right leg. Could this mean that these are Atlanteans?

3. The last points that I'm making are the glowing purple lights these aliens have around their bodies. Also, the helmets seem to have antennas sticking out.

These are just some things that i have noticed in the teaser trailer. What do you think they are? If you guys have something else that i have not seen, please right it down in the comments.

Blue body. Gladiator-esque armor.

They're related to Thanos.

Introduces Cosmic Side of MCU.

I'm still thinking Atlantis. The shot in the trailer when the air craft is landing on what looks like some kinda carrier is over the ocean. In the official handbook of the marvel universe there is an atlantean called "Attilla" he was I believe a general in the Atlantean army and tried to take over as king and was banished. He wears armor that is blue/green. With a face shield that would allow him to breath outside of water.

I am seeing two many pictures of water in the trailers. First looks like Iron Man is coming out of the ocean and know the shot on the carrier.

I think they're frost giants... Loki is the son of laufey, the frost giant king... Loki killed laufey and therefore would be next in line to rule the frost giants...

Frost giants in a Mr freeze type armor... NYC is a lot warmer than their home lol

I disagree with that statement about the frost giants wearing some kinda armor because it is too hot. At the beginning of Thor the Frost Giants attack earth and they were not wearing any type of armor.

Why would atlanteans be jumping from an aerial vehicle? Wouldn't they jump out of the ocean?

I thought about that as well. In the official handbook of the marvel universe it shows that Atlantis was more advanced than any other civilization. Not only that but it shows some of the vehicles they have. In the first trailer it shows a gold or yellow type flying vehicle. At first I thought it might be the avengers twin jet. After seeing the new preview I think the aircraft that is landing on the carrier is the avengers or stark twin jet.

Also in the first trailer there is some footage of Nick Fury hitting something that looks like what some people are calling a predator. To me it looks like some kind of breathing apparatus. I do agree with you that I think the frost giants will play some kind of role. I just believe that the leviathan is a creature.

I agree with you guys, but the thing that I'm sure of these aliens, is that they can't be front giants because these guys have 3 toes only. I figure it can be Atlanteans because we see iron man coming out of the water in the 1st trailer and it kinda questions the reason of him coming out of there. So far, I'm leaning towards Atlanteans because of the Leviathan and the blue skin. Plus it would be cool to see Namor join in the end.

I thought about utron as well but stark would have had to build him in on of the past movies.

Yes I apologize. They did mention pym in one movie but I think it would be too much to try and explain.

I think the large three toes could be a point of interest.

The Badoon have two large toes.

There are too many to be the Knights Of Wundagore.

The dull blue skin tone and body 'armour' look very similar to Lafey's when he's in Asgard, and about to kill Odin, but the feet don't match.

People say Atlanteans but if Namor is to be included in the future (rights being well) I would think they would be more humanoid.

The blue skin coupled with the 'masks' I am still gonna plump for The Kree. I know the feet should match that of a human but I would say the mask is breathing aparatus and their high-rise decent could account for their abilities in our gravity.

I'm thinking this 'Leviathon' is less to do with Atlantis and more the name of their large ship (which seems to be in view).

Annihilus and Annihilation Wave.
The "armour" could be insect like plating?

Read my article above.

I think I've got a good theory.

With 3 forward-pointing toes they aren't
ANNHILUS & HIS ANNHILATION WAVE, that's for
sure!

But they do look reptillian or insectoid
or "DEMONIC"......
...above I've got a really good theory!

DDD, just because their toes don't 100% match does not mean it can't be them.

@jimoakley the only similarities are the fact these guys appear to be big and are the same colour but thats about it, frost giants didn't have space ships, droids, and bloody laser guns the last time I checked

For Christ sake, they aren't Frost Giants or any type of giant for that matter. The prin. photo. stuff from Cleveland would've been Thor and Cap swinging at taller stunt men.

They definitely look like the Atlanteans!

YAWN...this looks like a stupid idea, why would atlanteans need flying machines.

In the marvel universe the Atlanteans were technologically advanced. At one point in the early 90's I believe they did a series called Atlantis attacks.
