In anticipation of the Blu-ray and DVD release of James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy movie tomorrow, Marvel has offered an official preview of the "exclusively" featured behind-the-scenes look at Avengers: Age of Ultron. Featuring behind-the-scenes footage as well as brief thoughts from writer/director Joss Whedon, the visuals may look familiar considering the full-length featurette was leaked last month. Regardless, check out the 30-second preview below in original HD quality!

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1, 2015.

@Merc - Dio called Pasto a skeet sheet. I can't even read that without laughing. I think it's a jizz towel. Or, if you're like me and made a pillow in 7th grade home economics, you have a "Hog Pillow" and you've never washed it. You terrorize your GF with it on occasion too.

Makes sense. I have a gym sock that you wouldn't even have to put a billiard ball in to bash someone's head in.

I'll say this for Whedon. He certainly knows how to deliver on fan wet dreams. In 2012 all we ever wanted from an Avengers movie was that first real superhero team-up. A triumphant message of: "this is huge and a little dumb, but goddamn it's awesome, isn't it?!"

And that's what he delivered. Now, people want to really dig into the characters themselves and how they work (or don't work) as a team. And everything looks like he's going to deliver that, too.

I give Whedon a fair amount of shit for not being the best man for the job in the Avengers director's chair, but he really does tap into that fanboy id that so many other CBM directors don't understand.

hahahahahahahahaha @Merc

Gusto - I don't see how it's [frick]ed up.

Firstly, it started as a pillow for my junk to sleep on. Then it all just kind of evolved from there. Then you have to hide it, because you don't want to be judged on that shit. Then you don't want to touch it or throw it in your laundry to take to wash. Then you can't throw it away because of the sentimentality of it.

Blame society man. Not me.
