Quicksilver dies in Age of Ultron saving Hawkeye.

Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.

And fanboys will insist that there's continuity between the shows and films, lol.

He's not actually dead, he has a healing factor. Its not as fast as Wolverines though, and hes sorta in a healing coma.

TheAmericanPatriot

From what I read QS has some sort of healing factor so he might not be dead. But I can see 5 different scenerios play out.

1. QS has a healing factor and is alive.
2. QS is dead.
3. QS is dead and he's in Hela's realm and is in Thor 3.
4. QS is in a coma due to his injuries from A2 and during Civil War, he and SW take the storyline of Sue and Johnny Storm.
5. The Dr. Strange movie deals with the Time Gem and Scarlet Witch messes with it causing a House of M storyline.

If he's dead, KEEP HIM [frick]ING DEAD!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I like all the MCU films. There are some I'm mixed about and think are just ok but none of them are bad.

But 10 films in and besides SHIELD being disbanded and then rebanded in AOS, there hasn't been any risk or major death. I'm taking about a MAJOR death, don't give me Thor's mom.

Not trying to say Marvel sucks or anything but 10 films in, there should be some big shake up in the universe that changes everything so to speak.

So what you guys are saying is that he died, but not really. Just like every MCU hero except for Frigga in Thor 2.

Kr08 - 4/18/2015, 1:00 PM
@KurtWagner1225 I like the MCU but they don't take risks! I don't want a hero to die either but I feel they need it just so we can feel the risk of anyone can die at any moment.

Didn't Whedon say it will be an Avenger's death?Pietro has been an Avenger for what?5 minutes? Also he never struck me as kinda of a guy who would die for anyone(besides Wanda of course),so nice one Joss...

Also poor Crystal(Inhumans),both of her canon husbands dead and human torch doesn't even exist in MCU.Maybe they won't include her in movies.

@TheAmericanPatriot Ooooh, I really like your 4th idea. The Twins taking over the Sue and Johnny Storm storyline. Since we have (unconfirmed) sources saying Olsen is back for Civil War, Johnson could be an under-the-radar cast member as a surprise or something.

[SPOILER]
there was a part when capt said "if they hurt you, hurt them back. if they kill you... *short pause * just walk it off"

then the scene turned to quicksilver releasing his breath.

somehow, i feel like he's going to come back at some point.

@undrstndgman

I thought the same thing.
And Hawkeye looks overly calm with his "dead" body at his feet.

Also there are a lot of ways to make him heal, Wanda's powers being first, then the machine that healed Clint (if they have another), and Quicksilver should have a fast way of healing too.
The fact that they didn't mention his death since and there was no ceremony makes me have doubts, he saved like half the people by himself.
Darth258
Darth258 - 4/23/2015, 5:13 PM
I'm sure they have plans.

@Kr08

Isn't it like the main factor of comic books, heroes get back from the dead, just their dead relatives don't. (Ben Parker, Jonathan Kent, the Waynes..)
And these are comic book movies, so sounds about right they do the same.
Verzwei
Verzwei - 4/24/2015, 8:25 AM
Yeah, I really hope he's not dead. My wife is a nurse, she said to me that none of the shots were in vital areas... They were pretty bad, but he could make it.

Also, he eyes kept opening and closing like he was in shock.
MercwithMouth
MercwithMouth - 4/24/2015, 8:46 AM
Yeah, not too worried, he'll be back. It's a CBM. To really follow the comics, heroes don't die forever. How many heroes have died in the comic and NEVER come back?

Darth258 you're right, the scene with hawkeye with the dead body of quicksilver was really weird audhasud

@TheAmericanPatriot- I like the idea of Wanda and Pietro taking the role of the Storms in Civil War, though I doubt Marvel will go with it.
