AVENGERS INFINITY WAR Hi-Res Still Sees Peter Parker As Menace AND Meat-Eater

Earlier today we saw Marvel release a featurette alongside numerous hi-res stills, and one of which in particular has inadvertently given us a closer look into the mind of the 16-year-old Super-Spider...

While it is true that Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War was released in theaters several months ago, the massive blockbuster hit actually finally lands to physical release with 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday. In the meantime, like always, Marvel has been releasing featurettes and hi-res stills to keep your mind where it belongs - with the heroes.

And there's no hero like Peter Parker's Spider-Man! As he is personally my favorite Super-Hero, I was excited to see the high res stills of him from the movie. Now, anyone who has seen the film (or the trailer) knows about the immensely cool scene on the schoolbus where Peter's friend Ned distracts their classmates so that the wall crawler can escape through the window to change outfits and assist Tony in battle. If you haven't, here's that photo again for you below.

Cool, yeah? Well,  because I'm obsessive, I found myself interested in what Pete's shirt said on it. I mean, obviously it's a bowl of lettuce and it clearly says the word lettuce at the top, but what is the message of the shirt? So I went online and searched for the shirt itself to find the message, which is in the photo below.

As you can see, our teenage Avenger has no love for healthy greens as the shirt reads " Lettuce: The Taste of Sadness" while also brandishing a bowl of leaves that if you look closely enough, wears a sad face on it, implying that even bowls don't like to eat healthy.

Anyone who has ever been a kid under the rule of adults understands the struggle of what you like to and want to eat versus what you are required to eat because you don't have a choice, and it's nice to see that even super-strong, alien-fighting, Earth-Avenging teenagers aren't quite so different after all. However, it's not hard to imagine that if Spidey could have sensed the ending of Avengers: Infinity War and what took place on Titan, he may just have chosen lettuce after all.

Details like these are what makes these characters and these movies so fun, as no matter how many times you watch and how closely you pay attention, it's still probably there's something you've missed. What sort of MCU secrets do you notice during your rewatches and scrutinization? Let us know below in the comments as we wait with bated breath for the untitled sequel to Avengers: Infinity War!

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Is this one of those things where we have to believe really hard to see it? Like Peter Pan style?

Was this unimportant, easy to overlook and nothing-adding-to-the-character really worth that article?
Why did you waste your time researching this? Why did you waste your time writing and publishing this article? Why did I waste my time reading it? And why did I waste my time writing this comment?

So, clearly there was an issue with the images posting properly in the body. Not sure why, but I'm working on getting it fixed. Thanks for all of your kind and patient comments in the duration. ☺️
