AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Star Scarlett Johansson Is Reportedly The Highest Paid Actress Of 2018

Forbes has released its annual list of the highest paid actresses of 2018, & right at the top is Black Widow herself, Scarlett Johansson. The likes of Gal Gadot and Jennifer Lawrence also made the top 10.

Despite a somewhat tumultuous year, Scarlett Johansson has emerged as Forbes' highest paid actress of 2018. According to the outlet, the Avengers: Infinity War star actually quadrupled her 2017 earnings to amass a whopping $40.5 million.

The Amazing Spider-Man's Emma Stone claimed the top spot last year.

Also making the top 10 are Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jennifer Lawrence (the X-Men movies), Cate Blanchett (Thor: Ragnarok) and Melissa McCarthy (Ghostbusters).

Playing Black Widow in the MCU has clearly worked out very well for Johansson, who will reprise the role for Avengers 4 next year before returning for director Cate Shortland's solo take on the former Russian spy.

@RorMachine - she’s fine but in a lot of movies she’s very wooden imo, she seems to have 3 looks. The Angry face, the shocked wife eyed face, and the pout with the one eyebrow raised face and that’s pretty much her whole range. Love her as Widow but in other movies she’s just really bland

Pretty sure she was whenever Age of Ultron came out too, it’s surprising considering I can’t think of anything she’s been in this year other than Avengers
