I'll try to make this short.  ARE YOU KIDDIN ME?? GIVE THE FANS WHAT THEY WANT ANd CUT THE POLITICS!  YOU'LL MAKE MORE MONEY, MARVEL!!!

Jessica Jones is a very great show and Luke Cage on there is awesome.  Daredevil is definitely holding its own.  Shield is better but I still question the reasoning in even doing that show.  I understand that Kevin Fiege(Film head) and Ira Permeter(TV head) are adversaries because Permeter got booted back to handling just the TV side it seems for the same company at Marvel(total ridiculous) but, Bob Igur, the head of Disney, has to step in and make this right!  Sure Jessica Jones tone isnt the same as the movie Avengers.  BUT SHE IS AN AVENGER!  Make it it work and stop acting like it cant be creatively done without sacrificing stories from the film and TV worlds.  This notion that film is better than TV is a old wives tale at this point because of the content options of viewing in so many areas.  I would even go as far to say that a lot of TV content nowadays rivals if not surpasses movies.  So stop making that as an excuse where divisions IN THE SAME COMPANY can't work together.

But let's be honest.  We all know what this is.  Politics.  A pissing contest.  And the fans have to suffer because of it.  Until Bob Igur steps in to stop this mess we fans wont get what we truly want,: a cohesive Marvel universe like the comics we grew up on.  I'm not saying that there needs to be a HUGE crossover event but the movies DO NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE the TV characters and to me that's insulting as a fan when you tell me all these characters exist in the same universe.

I am fine with this because the Defenders are street level heroes and don't have to be involved with the Avengers. I would be happy with a small cameo that during Infinity War the Avengers contact Earth or something because it is being invaded and they speak with Luke Cage or Daredevil and they tell them they can handle Earth and to go save the universe. @GliderMan is right there are way too many heroes to include the Defenders. You have the original six Avengers, the GOTG, Black Panther, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Falcon, Wasp, War Machine, Vision. I wouldn't be surprised if they left a couple of these characters behind when going off to face Thanos like an Earth team and a Space team happened in the Kree Skrull War event.

@GliderMan No i do not think i would be difficult. They are using that excuse to hide behind the fact that there are huge office politics involved. I bet if Fiege was in charge of Film and TV this would be a non-issue. My point is you dangled the carrot of the "its all connected" for the fans so now we want you, Marvel, to take it up a notch. Like i said no one is asking for a full fledged crossover which would logistically be complicated because of schedules between TV and films I'm just saying why can't Chris Evans' Steve Rogers be seen eating a sandwich at a bar in Hell's Kitchen when Jessica Jones comes running by? Why do you have to worry about continuity with something like that? He could be eating a sandwich anytime. Or how come the films haven't acknowledge Shield exists underground or whatever. Dumb stuff because of behind the scenes politics you won't have that happening. Surely they know Daredevil exists by now especially Spiderman. How is the Inhumans movie gonna acknowledge what they're doing on Agents Of Shield?? The movie better have Daisy in it at some capacity! @Maxi91291 That pic is hilarious! THIA IS PROBABLY ALL PERMETER'S FAULT ANYWAY!
