@Marky

Ah, but what did you think of the video?

Holy crap, I did not expect that at all! That's surprisingly well though out. I would be slightly dissapointed if it was true, because it would mean we wouldn't get Adam Warlock having the Stone in his forehead, but that might be too similair to the situation with Vision having the Mind Stone in his head. Kudos for thinking this through. Thumbed!

"It wouldn't be wise to keep two Infinity Stones so close together." - Volstagg

I like the idea, but I doubt it's true, based purely on what Volstagg said. Obviously there's the chance Volstagg, Sif and any other Asgardian has no idea Heimdall has the Soul Stone in his chest, but I'd think Odin wouldn't keep that from his people. Also, the little gem in his chest isn't glowing or anything. Every other Infinity Stone has been glowing.

In Thor's dream, we only saw the Infinity Stones we've met so far, i.e. the Power, Reality, Space and Mind Stones. If we'd seen all of the Stones that'd certainly give more weight to the theory.

I'm certainly more inclined to think the H is for Him and Adam Warlock's got the Soul Stone, but there's next to nothing to back that up. I'm actually beginning to think Warlock is either dead or was never there in the first place.

I'm seeing the movie again today, so I'll probably update my MCU theory tonight. I like this idea though, it fills in a gap I can't fill, so mad props to you.

1. Thank you for being light on spoilers, and 2. Great eye for catching this.
With the Gauntlet being in Asgard and Heimdall possibly being the remaining Gem, Id imagine an after credits scene with Thanos retrieving it from his corpse, a lead up to him collecting all the gems.

Another possibility is that Heimdall merely shares the same color with the soul gem, kinda like how Scarlet Witch shares the same ability and color scheme as the reality gem

Thanks everyone for the nice comments I really appreciate it!

@TheBritAvenger Haha thank you, Yeah I think it may be similar too to what the vision has.

@NovaCorpsFan Well, it's just a theory, but it wouldn't surprise me if Heimdall is a secret really

@WinterOstritch Thanks :) and yeah maybe it is just colours...

I liked it. ..but the whole spelling out of THANOS seems a little contrived - I mean does that mean Thanos is somehow destined to possess them all? Or just a coincidence??

How many stones are in Asgard then?

I thought we saw the Gauntlet was in Odin's trophy room - SPOILER!!!
..how did Thanos get it in AoU?

I thought the Tesseract (space)was taken to Asgard by Thor.

Didnt Sif and co. drop the Ether(Reality)to the Collector?

The Power Orb(power) is at Nova Corps in Xandar

and maybe the Soul gem is on Heimdell.

So what about the time Gem?

Maybe it will be in Antman - it involves different timelines. Hard to see it going all cosmic tho as it seems to be a Earth based heist movie.

Does Marvel make this up as they go or was it planned like this from 2008?

so confused.

My theory is that since the new Guardians of the galaxy movie is using the codename Guardians 3000 which makes me think that somehow they are going to tie in the time stone with the time travel which will bring the new Guardians 3000 team to the team that exists now.
I also believe that they are going to bring the soul stone in doctor strange mostly because they need a big way to tie him into the marvel universe.
That's just where my head went but I think the Guardians one is the most proabable but I could always be wrong.

Awesome theory! One more thing to note - heimdall's pale white eyes in Thor's vision in AOU. Maybe that is the result of him not possessing the soul gem anymore.
