This AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Star Believes Their Character Survived The Events Of The Film

After years of build up, most fans predicted Thanos would take out a few beloved characters, but many were still shocked to see a few fan-favorites meet their end at the hands of the Mad Titan.

Still, while Avengers: Infinity War featured a number of onscreen deaths, the fate of a few Marvel characters were left unclear as they either didn’t appear in the film, or they remained largely offscreen. Fortunately, the Russos answered a number of these lingering questions by revealing what happened to characters like Valkyrie and Aunt May. However, there were still some characters fans were left in the dark on.

Now, after speaking briefly with Cinema Blend, Bencio Del Toro seemingly revealed one character's fate, as he states whether he thinks The Collector ultimately survived Thanos’ quest to bring balance to the universe.

“I think he's alive,” Del Toro answered. “Yeah... I think that, you know, I think he's alive. You're talking to him!”

Of course, some might not want to take this as official confirmation that The Collector survived, but it wouldn’t be too big of a surprise. After all, we never actually see The Collector in the flesh, despite Thanos getting his hands on the Reality Stone which was in his possession.

Does it matter? Literally the only one who might actually stay dead from IW is Gamora...every single other character is at least coming back for Avengers 4

@RebelCommander - I Disagree.

Vision is probably dead
The nova Corp is probably dead
Heimdell and those asgardians are dead
The black order is obviously dead

Thanos did massive damage even without the snap.

@RebelCommander - She's not staying dead. She's in the Soul Stone, they're giving her Adam Warlock's role. In fact, I'd guess that Adam Warlock's role may be divided amongst Gamora, Captain Marvel and Vision.

@Yaf - if the nova weren't decimated then we'll still have no logical reason for either of the main two comic versions of nova to appear or be powered like they're supposed to be

still bummed out that we couldn't even get that as a credit scene though (the attack on xandar)

@ftf530 - Nova could be lost at the time, or the last surviving member

@Yaf - you got any proof of that?

@RebelCommander - Damn really I could've sworn I heard Thanos snap Loki's neck, and stab Heimdall in the chest. I would say Vision too but the seeds were sewn for his eventual return as he is a machine that can be rebuilt and I'm pretty sure Shuri may have some of his consciousness on a floppy disk somewhere.
