Winter Soldier Actor Sebastian Stan Is The Latest Cast Member Confirmed To Appear In AVENGERS 4

We recently learned that Brie Larson will appear in the untitled Avengers: Infinity War sequel and now Captain America: Civil War star Sebastian Stan has confirmed that he'll also be part of the cast.

Brie Larson was recently spotted arriving in Atlanta to start shooting Avengers 4 and we can now add another Marvel Cinematic Universe actor to the highly anticipated release. Allaying any fears that Bucky will meet his maker in Avengers: Infinity War, Sebastian Stan has confirmed in a new interview that he's gearing up to return as the former Winter Soldier but will he suit up as Captain America?

That obviously remains to be seen but many fans remain convinced that Stan will take over the mantle if Steve Rogers falls to Thanos. However, the actor admits he's not the screenplay so doesn't know!

"I still haven’t read a script for this next one. For this fourth one. All I know is I’m going down there in October, and that’s all I know. I still actually haven’t read a script for the last one. [laughs] All I knew was what I was involved in, and I was kept on a very ‘need to know’ basis. Maybe that’s the norm. But it’s a family system. There’s a trust, and there’s a sense of knowledge between the writers and the directors, with Kevin [Feige]… that shows up."

Chris Evans' future in the MCU has been in doubt for quite some time so it would definitely make sense for Stan to take over as the new Captain America as we move into Phase 4 regardless of whether or not Steve will be present in Avengers 4. We'll just have to wait and see but it's definitely good to know that Bucky will be back! What do you guys think? As always, let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

This has got to be the most underrated fight scene in a cbm EVER

@KingCipher - The only problem I have with that fight is the chase sequence in the tunnel that comes right after the fight in the block of flats and the rooftop fight with BP.

It's not particularly bad, I just feel it went by way to fast and wasn't as tense. I would have loved it if in between all the running, we got smaller fights between BP, Cap and Bucky

@KingCipher - loved all the action sequences in civil war, they all seem unavoidable and they moved the story forward as opposed to stopping the movie for a action sequence

@KingCipher - The Russos do such a good job of characterization through fighting. How Bucky has no problem maiming anyone while Steve does his best to knock them out/restrain them. It reminded me a bit of the DD Punisher team up on S2E4.

For some reason I had the illogical thought that Avengers 4 featured Dormammu in it. Like maybe Strange summons him from his dimension to fight or distract Thanos in some way. It would be cool to have some cosmic characters to at least recreate in a small way the scene in the comics where the Big Omnipotent guys fought Thanos
