For those handful of readers who have not seen Avengers: Age of Ultron yet, do not continue to read this article. If you do, you will be spoiled. You were warned.

At the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Hulk threw Ultron out of the Quinjet and decided to stay on it so he wouldn't cause any more harm to people. After he shockingly shut down Black Widow's transmission, we all saw that the Hulk's fate was left up in the air (No pun intended, I think). We originally thought that the Hulk was going to get shot into space, but this was not the case. In a new podcast interview, Joss Whedon revealed that it was never intended for the Hulk to go out into space, and what he originally had planned for the character. "You know, I never intended to shoot him into space. What I wanted to do was indicate that he might. I wanted the sky above him to be slightly thinner. A few stars. Because, you know, I put in, very specifically, the line, ‘Where in the world am I not a threat?’" He then continued, "I wanted to leave people with the idea that, if this is the last movie, that he may have left the world behind, because I think there is something enormously poetic about that. There is also something enormously misleading about that, because they don’t plan to make Planet Hulk, as far as I know, so they were like, ‘No, just sky, no stars,’ which was less poetic, but still very beautiful.”

After seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron, we all ask ourselves this question: What's next for the Hulk? Some say that there should be a Planet Hulk film, while others might not agree. Will Hulk show up in Thor: Ragnarok? How about Guardians of the Galaxy 2? At this point, anything could happen. What do you think? In the comment section below, share your opinion and tell what you think is next for The Hulk. Sound off below!
