Has Mark Ruffalo Just SPOILED Two Major Character Appearances In AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR?

We know Avengers: Infinity War will feature a lot of big surprises but star Mark Ruffalo has now potentially revealed a couple of unexpected cameo appearances from some fan-favourite Marvel characters.

Mark Ruffalo delivered a very different take on The Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok and excitement is at an all-time high to see where the Jade Giant goes next in Avengers: Infinity War. During a recent podcast, the actor was asked which actors he's worked with who left the best impression on him and he named both Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett, two stars he indicated that he'd collaborated with recently.

It's possible that he was just referring to working alongside Blanchett in Thor: Ragnarok as she obviously played Hela in the threequel. While these remarks don't necessarily mean they're both in Infinity War, it's certainly feasible given recent fan theories about the Goddess of Death teaming with Thanos and a standee which showed The Ancient One alongside other characters from the movie.

Ruffalo also doesn't have any other projects in the works with either actress and he's been working on both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 for months now. It seems we'll just have to wait and see but both movies will no doubt feature a lot of surprise appearances from various characters from the past. What do you guys think of this news? As per usual, be sure to let us know your thoughts below.

It may be reaching with Cate Blanchett but not Tilda Swinton. He really hasn't "worked" with her before or as of recent, unless he counts those MCU photoshoots.

Thing is, I hope they open up other realities and shit in this movie. Would be amazing. And could give way to a cancer verse inspired movie in the future?.... So yeah maybe old dead characters could appear briefly. Ancient One did say there are infinite universes..

Is it possible he was referring to a project with Tilda outside of the MCU? If not, it might be a case of Mark Ruffalo just straight up putting his foot in it AGAIN.

I hope tilda doesn't come back to life, I hope this is another reality, or back in time. Don't want to revert Dr. Strange's dramatic moment. And the ancient one doesn't exactly come back to life in the comics.

@BloodyBed - Probably back in time, rewinding what Thanos has been up to all during the events of all these Marvel movies.
Or maybe the Ancient One will be a force-ghost kind of thing. Disney owns Star Wars too, so they could get away with it.
