Cool. So any word on the redesign for the Avengers Assembled MCU Briefcase Box Set, since they cancelled it? If they are still doing a box set, i'm getting it and I'll buy this off of Ebay, and if they don't, I'll just buy this from Wal-Mart.

Hey look it's Coulson at the far right of ur pic :D

Also thats how Cap's suit should try to look like in the movie, just make the chest area on Cap look how Thor's " chainmail " does on his arms in the films.

I'm kinda past origin stories, so I'm gonna give this a pass. This is good for comic book beginners, though.

Aren't Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver sort of stuck in the Fox camp along with all of the other mutants? If Fox wouldn't let Marvel use Galactus and Surfer, it's doubtful they'll lend out Magneto's kids.

@DEADP0000L This is a pretty good exclusive for Walmart. Target's comes with a bonus disc with extra footage. However, I'm curious if some of that might not already come on the blu-ray any way. I wonder what Best Buy will be doing?

I love store exclusives. Target usually has the best (although lately, they've been a little meh). I've got Iron Man and The Dark Knight in cases that look like Iron Man's and Batman's mask. I've got Toy Story 3 in a case that came with an actual Buzz Lightyear from Target.com. And the coolest Target exclusive, a case in the shape of the Enterprise that contains Star Trek 2009 in the saucer.

To me, Coulson himself was the MCU embodiement of Vision, they just had him as a human than an android. Kind of a cheat I know, but thats how I think they short cut their way to having Vision.

And I think the mentions of the " cellist " was in fact an easter egg towards Scarlet Witch and at the same time showing Coulson's connection to her, there by making the connection that his character might be Vison as he was. Not sure if we'll get the comic book version, but instead we get Coulson who's close enough to being the character with the way his personality was displayed and his seriousness/lack of emotions at times.

What do u think?

It was said a while back that Marvel studios are actually allowed to use Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in any of their films, so long as there is no mention of their connection to Magneto who is solely owned by FOX

Wish Caps suit looked different, and they say 'modern' but that looks like the classic Iron Man suit.

All nitpicking aside I think I might check this comic out.

And FOX doesn't own the rights to all mutants.

For example, Cable and Dazzler for starters.

Consider Wolverine who debuted in the Hulk but had the majority of his history fleshed out in mutant titles. The same thing goes for Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver possibly who got a lot of development in Avengers comparatively.
DrainBamage
DrainBamage - 8/31/2012, 4:35 AM
@Bane2099 Now that's an odd arrangement if ever there was one. You would figure that Fox would have a lock down on the children of one of their current franchises central characters.

I hate hypotheticals, but how's it going to work should they decide to introduce them in say X-Men 4 but Marvel/Disney's using them in Avengers 2? Sounds like a legal nightmare.

Yeah I read about it a few months back, Marvel Studios said themselves they are legally allowed to use both of the characters and so is FOX, but as long as Magento isnt mentioned, Marvel Studios cant get in trouble.

Something similiar was about to happen with The Wolverine movie when they said they were gonna include the character Viper, who is also known as Madame Hydra. Since she was gonna go by the name Viper in the film, Marvel Studios still had the legal right to use her character as well in future films, so long as they she went by Madame Hydra, wierd legal loophole huh :]

Agreed, and I like how Whedon didn't make them to obvious u know, u just heard about the cellist real quick here and there, and those of us who know it was a nod to Scarlet Witch caught on to them and know Whedon was poking at us with that hint...As to wether her or Vision will make appearances in the future, only time and will tell.
