Earth's mightiest heroes unite for the first time on screen. Being a huge Marvel fan I am going to love this movie even if the story is crap. But with major competition from The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man can the Avengers standout from the rest?
1:The hype. This movie has managed to have a steady level of hype for the past for years. That's impressive considering...WE'VE HAD TO WAIT 4 YEARS!!! It all started with the first Iron Man. Sadly I didn't get to see Iron Man in theaters. So I had to wait and watch the after credits scene on YouTube. And when I saw it I jumped up and down screaming like a little girl. And seeing every after credits scene since makes me even more excited
2: Crossover. We've had crossovers in the past. Mostly on tv shows,but the Avengers will be the first to venture in doing that with superheroes on the big screen in live action. For the general audience it'll be like "Whoa what's Iron Man doing talking to that guy from THOR? Wow is that Captain America and Thor standing together?" It may sound stupid but its cool to look at. We'll get to see all these cool characters interact with one another. That's a dream come true.
3:Potential. If Wheadon does this right,if he pulls this off then that opens the door for more crossovers in the future. Not just Worlds Finest but also just regular crossovers like a Iron Man movie with the Hulk guest appearing. That sounds cool to me. And of course...WE'LL GET A JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE FOR SURE.
4:Action. The action in this movie will be like no other. A combination of multiple genres in one movie. Kung fu like fighting with Black Widow. Sci Fi action with Iron Man. Fantasy with Thor,and everything else in between with Capt,Hulk and the others.
This movie will blow minds,and even if the story isn't tnat great we'll still be in for a real treat. Sound off your thoughts in the usual place. AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!
