so was that the story about someone else auditioning to play the motion capture hulk bullshit then,i think so.

can't wait to see the avengers,maybe get some juicy stuff at comic-con.

I have to say he'll probably do a great job as Bruce but it's just a shame that A) Norton didn't get a shot or B) They didn't just go with Mark from the start.

@ the witness movie versions hulk all day cause the down played wolverines awsomeness like single 9 millimeter bullet to the head knocked him out (X2) so no way will he be able to take hit from the Hulk

I wonder if they will use the same CGI model for the Hulk that Marvel Studios used in the last one with Ed Norton. For the sake of consistency and continuity, I hope they do use the same looking Hulk.

CapWriter, Consistency is the last thing on these peoples mind. Kevin Fiege will see to that personally. The Incredible Hulk was a good film and it was THAT film that really got me excited about the Avenegrs and all the actors/characters movies coming together. Fiege killed that and brought this douchebag Ruffalo in, so, would it be cool if the Hulk himself at least looked like the current model? That would be awesome. But I feel that Fiege has a little Lucas in him- that evil part of a film tyrant that likes to give the fans the finger. I bet he'll look totally differen so that there is no hope for consistency. George Lucas style.

CapWriter @ I hope they change it - The Hulk in TIH looked just like an expensive cartoon in my opinion.

For this film to work they really need to sort out how the Hulk looks - they haven't done it succesfully yet.

It is very difficult to get the Hulk looking real. They have been working on it for YEARS and still it ends up looking a bit fake. Don't expect them to have suddenly get a VFX breakthrough for the Avengers movie.

I was able to look past it and I found The Incredible Hulk to be a GREAT movie. It was literally the comic portrayed onto the big screen. I don't expect to allow the Hulk's VFX to interfere with my enjoyment of the The Avengers.

I'm a fan of the Hulk and the best actor for a character as psychological as that...was Norton.

I can't see ruffalo playing Hulk...let alone a nerdy scientist like Bruce Banner. :P

Maybe weight-wise he can be the scientist that ATE Banner.

@NeoBaggins- EXACTLY dude! ruffalo IS a douchebag! Hopefully they keep the Hulk model the same as in TIH. If they do change it, I will be seriously pissed. As it stands, Hulk is the only character in the Avengers film I'm actually a fan of. So my opinion on the film won't be all that great but if they actually f' up the HULK, I'll be pissed and...yeah- "LP4 SMASH!" ~that f/u/c/k/e/r fiege.

Thats the main reason I too am excited about Avengers. I love Cap, Thor and IronMan but its Hulk I am most excited about the movie and have always been a fan fav of.

I would not like the Avengers movie as much without Hulk but I would still go see it.

Ruffalo was not my favorite choice at first but he starts to grow on you and lately he is looking good losing all the weight to fit the image of Banner. I really think he will do good as Banner and as much as I love Norton, Feige and Whedon saw that he (Ruf) was the character that would blend in with the rest of the actors portraying Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
