MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS: Iron Man Mark VI Hot Toys Action Figure Revealed

Hot Toys has teamed up with Pepsi to offer fans a chance to get their hands on a version of Tony Stark's Mark VI armor in The Avengers. We know he eventually ends up donning an entirely new suit, so whether that is yet to be revealed remains to be seen.

Joss Whedon has made it clear that he's not a fan of the triangular chest piece that Iron Man was outfitted with in 2010's Iron Man 2 and there was initially some confusion over the fact that the character was spotted with two different chest plates in promotional art and clips from the film. However, this eventually resulted in the director revealing that Iron Man would have two separate armors during the course of The Avengers. It seems likely that Hot Toys will eventually reveal the Mark VII version, but a promotion with Pepsi has unveiled the limited edition Mark VI from the superhero ensemble which a select number of fans will be able to get their hands on. Details and images below.

2 years after Iron Man 2, and I still don't like the mark VI armor. The red paint is too vibrant, while the gold coloring is too pale. And the boring grey/silver patches on the arms and legs stand out too much.

I can't wait to see how much better the Mark VII looks in the Avengers.

Hot Toys is milking..... Mark VI has been released before, with battle damage replacement parts but no Stark head sculpt. The head sculpt was released with Mark IV.

No, like seriously, has anyone heard if Hot Toys will be making a Hulk or a new Thor figure?

I'm on the fence about committing to buying these, but I really only want to buy them if they are going to commit to making ALL the cast... well, the main ones.

Yeah, right Hot Toys... you have leftovers Mark VI bodies, Tony Stark Head Sculpts from Iron Man Mech Test, and Tony Stark Head Sculpts from Mark IV of your previous release.. Then make a new stand base, voila.. a Limited Edition new shit! Stop milking the Iron Man line up and better finish your delayed line up like Tron, Metal Gear Solid, X-Men First Class and Green Lantern, Sucker Punch etc.. what ever happen to them?
