The actor shares his thoughts on The Avengers director Joss Whedon and after previously revealing that Thor 2 would start shooting in the Summer, he now confirms that it will start this Spring.

"I had a lot of fun with him, it was great," said Tom Hiddleston of his experience working with director Joss Whedon. "Joss has an extraordinary taste, I think. He's got such a brilliant and irreverent sense of humour but also an incredibly deep knowledge of the comic book genre and a respect for the traditions of how these things are handled."

Unfortunately, he wasn't willing to reveal anything new about the Alan Taylor helmed Thor 2, but did confirm that shooting will start this Spring (rather than Summer as he previously revealed). "There is a Thor 2. It's been green-lit, and I think it will start shooting in London in the spring. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are coming back. I haven't seen the script. This is where I feel the Marvel snipers are waiting and watching across the street..."

Thor 2: My fan cast
Balder: Jensen Ackles this guy deserves a really good role to play on the big screen and it would be awesome if he would play the role of Balder, ive seen every episode of Supernatural and its an absoulutly phenomenal show. He can play someone who dislikes fighting but if it came down to having to fight he will kick some ass.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau the guy plays Ser Jaime Lannister in the Game of Thrones series.

Hela: Like Intruder i think Eva Green would be perfect for this role.

Amora the Enchantress: Either Evangeline Lilly/ Amanda Seyfried/ Ali Larter/ BUT MY FAV CHOICE WOULD HAVE TO BE Rachel McAdams XD she is around the same age as chris and tom as well

Karnilla: Rosario Dawson, she was a good actress in seven pounds. or what about Vanessa L. Williams

Valkyrie/Brunnhilde: Sienna Miller

Skurge the Executioner: Robert Maillet but this character needs depth unlike the other characters this guy has portrayed in other movies.

first i'm learning of the director choice. rut ro ... marvel is rolling the dice a little i think. a different director for the sequel is risky enough but a i guy making his first transition from the small-screen to the big screen? not a good recipe for brilliance but hopefully they can make it respectable.

screw that bring in thanos !!!! lol that is a balling fight .....and yes bring portman as jane back....u cant leave it like that and portman is as hot as jamie alexander ....dont really see the difference other than portman being a better actress ........enough about them two kate is back in underworld...wouldnt yall agree she would make a good bastila in a could be kotor movie or even samus if they did a metroid movie

Dudes I have a feeling the Avengers is gonna blow the doors open for all the characters from the Marvel Universe. Yeah. And the Avengers is do so well that Warner Brothers will decide green light a live action Justice League movie. And they'll hire good writers/director/whatever else necessary to make it Epicly Epic. Were gonna be seeing Avengers live action done right. This makes up for all the mediocre CBM that seemed good at the time but were crud compared to Marvel Studios or Chris Nolan.

Can't wait to see this movie and all the other good movies coming out before it!!!!!! They should have a Led Zeppelin track in the film. Yeah and have Jane Foster and Lady Siff and Enchantress in some scantily clad outfits. Yeah.

@Seejay Thanks :). Man the first moment i saw Nikolaj Coster-Waldau on screen in the Game of thrones i dropped my jaw and i was like thats [frick]in balder right there! THATS HIM RIGHT THERE!, my search is over lol. pass it on to Marvel studios OH WAIT!....Alan Taylor is the DIRECTOR who has also directed the final 2 episodes of of season 1 in the Game of Thrones. so he may just do a little something and get Nikolaj Coster-Waldau on board for Thor 2 as well XD

When Stark said that, I thought damn; that's terrible writing. But yeah, it is pretty cool to have a live-action Avengers movie. The movies should get progressively ambitious until their making full on MARVEL space movies with the cosmic characters and stories.

@EasterBunnyKiller Loki probably wont be the main villian for at least 4-5 thor movies. He will most likely start to manipulate events over the course of those movies that lead him to [frick]ing sht up again :P but like in the comics he may live in exile, be banished from asgard like in the Avengers: EMH tv series, he rejoin the house of odin repent and fight along side Thor in battles throughout the movies whilst doing the things i staes above.
