It's still to do with the Incursions I think. The reason time is running out though is because to many characters have fricked with the time stream and the Marvel Universe is ending.

yeah it started back in age of ultron didnt it? ive found this whole incursion thing a bit confusing and it seems to run through so many different titles it's hard to keep up.

like i think one of the original sin tie ins is something to do with this, where the illuminate have cap use the infinity gauntlet to move one of the planets but the gems break and cao gets sent to the future. just a bit confusing.
