Earlier this week, Multi had posted up that Kevin Pennington MIGHT be playing Hawkeye. Not so it turns out!
Here's the scoop:
"Kevin had posted on his Twitter page that, 'It's a three picture deal so hopefully that guarantees i'll be in more than one movie in my lifetime... haha :).' However we noticed today that post seems to have disappeared, but Kevin did post a new clue for his movie role as follows;
'big movie deal does not involve a mask covering my face... take that as you will. gnight :-)'"
Now there are several fan favorite SHIELD agents. Dum Dum Dugan, Jasper Sitwell, Jimmy Woo, etc. etc. But who will Pennington portray? He could still be Hawkeye with no mask if he is a SHIELD agent. Just look at the Ultimates (groan).
But this is not the juiciest bit.
The same "Inside Source" that gave us details about Kevin Pennington's role this past week has just given MarvelousNews a VERY intriguing scoop.
Are you ready to hear it? I hope so. Because this person just informed them that Nathan Fillion is almost locked in as Hank Pym!
Here's what the "Insider" had to say:
"Nathan Fillion is pretty much locked to be Henry Pym, and should be announced before any other new additions to the cast (think around Comic Con)"

If this "Insider" can be trusted of course. None of his information can be disproved as of yet, so I'll leave it up to you on whether or not he is a reliable source.
