Can't wait, but here's the problem I have: The cover is meh because it tells me that they are getting lazy and are not coming up with something more creative. Plus, that picture with Tony Stark at the left hand of the cover is also a meh, they should have put the Avengers logo instead. And I'm talking about the "A" logo. It's cool though.

That's a lot of pluses.. Surprised there is no +vudu +ultraviolet+ sticker on it as well!!

Disappointed its not coming out next Tuesday though!! I was looking forward to seeing it again today after passing a test, but it has already been booted out of my favorite theater for the likes of such classics as Abraham Lincoln, that's my boy, rock of ages, people like us, snow white, magic mike, and seeking a friend,.... Bah!

In order to get the Digital Copy, you have to buy the set with the Blu-ray 3D disc. That seems lame.

Once I pick this up, I'm watching it again immediately, which I very rarely do with movies I purchase.

@Teo Ugh, no thanks. I'm in the US, and I've always wanted to visit Italy. So I'll fly down there on August 29th and pick it up. And I don't give a [frick] if region 2 DVDs won't play on US DVD players, because all I have to do is convert my DVD player to region free. So suck on that. :P

"Marvel's The Avengers" with another Marvel logo directly below it is a bit too much Marvel for one cover. Comes off a very... corporate? Consumerist? Something like that.

This is the movie that will probably make me upgrade the TV to a 60" 3D LED TV once it gets to about $1,500 in a couple years time. Can't believe how cheap this technology has become. Bread and circuses indeed!!

@coalesce I just purchased a 55" LG 3D LED TV (damn thats a lot of initials) fro $1200. It looks amazing. I am not a HUGE 3D fan but Halo Combat Evolved, Gears of War 3, & NBA2k12 all look awesome in 3D. Looking forward to having Avengers in 3D as well.

@CPBUff22: Do you need to wear 3D glasses? That's the other thing I'm waiting for: the elimination of 3D glasses to see a 3D movie/game/etc. The technology is supposedly not too far off.
