Scarlett Johansson Says 'Black Widow's Past Catches Up To Her In AVENGERS: AOU

We already know that Black Widow has "red in her ledger", and in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the character's checkered past is touched upon yet again - if only very briefly. But it seems Miss Romanov will have to face her demons head on in Joss Whedon's Age Of Ultron..and she may not be the only one. "In Avengers 2 we go back..we definitely learn more about Widow's back-story, and get to find out how she became the person you see," Johansson reveals to IGN when quizzed about what we can expect from Romanov's arc in the sequel to Marvel's The Avengers. "All of these characters have deep, dark pasts, and I think that the past catches up to some of us a little bit." Can we assume that Ultron uses Widow's lethal history as an assassin to try to break her spirit? It certainly sounds as if she and the rest of our heroes may have to face up to certain mistakes they've made anyway. You can see the video at the link below.
