Chatting briefly with USA Today, the actors behind the "big three" of Marvel Studios' The Avengers, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Hemsworth discuss the successful box office results for their solo flicks, and how it's influences their bond. With a line from the studios' president, Kevin Feige, read on below!

Hemsworth says, "I shot [Chris Evans] a few texts over (opening) weekend. "It was like, 'You beat The Wizard! Down with Potter!' With Captain America working it's like, 'OK good,''' says Hemsworth. "We're still on track with this ensemble. It gives each of us a bump."

Downey says, "I'll just say it, There's an aspect of my psyche that doesn't want anyone to do as well as me…it's part of human nature, survival of the fittest and all that. But it's so nice to root for each other in Hollywood," he adds. "Intentionally or not, Marvel has created an atmosphere of camaraderie. It's a team really."

Evans says, "Once it does well, you can just let it go,", adding that the only way he celebrated the robust numbers was "by not thinking about it."

Feige states, "It's all very, very supportive," he says. "These guys are all in this together"

Marvel's The Avengers picks up when an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security. And Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. With director Joss Whedon at it's helm, and an ensemble cast including Chris Evans (Steve Rogers), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Chris Hemsworth (Thor Odinson), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff), Clark Gregg (Agt. Phil Coulson), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Samuel L.
