With the average number of viewers being around 115,000,000 that tuned into NBC's record breaking Super Bowl broadcast, The Avengers still managed to carry it's buzz back to the internet for an extended look at the action packed preview, and to pretty much out-news every other trailer that made face throughout the evening..

Still having months to go before it's May release it's safe to say this film has the potential break records not only at the box office, but from a promotional stand point as well..

Definitely.. But yeah, during the half time show they peaked at just over 140,000,000 viewers making it the most watched game/event in SuperBowl history. I must say, that's pretty impressive figures. Just imagine all that marketing money thrown around between the "suits" lol Damn..

@superotherside indeed..

@kpk It's only been a little over a day bro.. I'm not taking anything from TDKR It's probably the film I'm most excited for this summer. Though recently my anticipation for The Avengers has taken a drastic incline.

Also, TDKR trailer wasn't aired on a television station on a night that everyone and their grandmother was watching it.. Technically The Avengers had probably gotten about 78 Million views before it even went online. I mean, if you want to get down to it. LOL I absolutely love Nolan's bat-flicks but you got to give some credit where it's due..

I'm so tired of TDKR comments on Avengers items. The Nolan flick will be a great movie but The Avengers motion picture is an event of human achievement on the level of the construction of the pyramids or the moon landing.

Guys,

I'm totally stoked to see TDKR and think it may hit #1 at least for summer movies, but the movie I am looking forward to the most is Avengers!!! Been waiting for this movie since 2008 and have followed it every step of each day.

I love DC Comics (hate the new logo though) but I am a Marvel fan for life!

This last trailer rocks and I'm sure it will compete with the Bat for the #1 box office chart.

I really hate Cap's costume. I wish it'll be all torn up and in the end he'll use his old one.
