UPDATE: Set Construction Begins On The Avengers In Cleveland...Is It Stark Tower?!

Some fairly unrevealing set photos showing the construction of the front of a building in Cleveland have surface, with locals speculating that it's either the entrance to Stark Tower or a S.H.I.E.L.D base...

Midwest Movie Maker have posted some photos of Ameritrust Tower in Cleveland (the building next door, also abandoned, was used in Spider-Man 3) featuring the construction of a new entrance. What is it for? Well, that's a fairly modern looking design which has led many locals to speculate that it may have something to do with either Stark Tower or S.H.I.E.L.D. Personally, I'd say either one of these is pretty likely, but the site promise an update in a few days time when the work is completed, and there are hopefully signs put up.

UPDATE: Thanks to the keen eye of CBM's own DCMarvelFreshman, we also have the following images showing a far more completed version of the constructed building entrance. Remember, you can find him on Twitter by clicking HERE!

Chris got dat PERSONALITY down pat on CAP.

@ Jazzywazzy
Sorry man, the movie is so secretive, they didn't even tell this guy anything about the scene except that he would be resucued by Captain America when he got the role, and didn't give him any other info.

The Avengers script leak from months ago is real. Toy Story and Serenity scripts are available to read at imsdb.com . The formats are clearly the same and give us a look at whedons "handwriting", and that script is full of that handwriting. Spread the word.

This is exciting...but I'll just stick to reading TDKR news, since it actually IS NEWS.

Of course, they built a false front onto a parking garage to make it into a prison for The Dark Knight Rises so that they could blow it up, so there's no reason this one has to be Stark tower or even SHIELD... Could just be part of the cityscape that gets destroyed in a battle.

They make a small roof over something and you immediately go, "STARK TOWER!!!"???
STOOPUDR

Well Spiderman is tied to the MCU at least a little bit. That same building appeared in the background of the Spiderman Sandman fight in Spiderman 3. It was over the Sandmans shoulder as he stood on top of the armored car.

The building was being demolished suring Spiderman 3 but it was haulted, after the interior demo/ abatement was completed. I work for the company that was doing the work. If this is true, I have blue prints for the Stark Tower, prior to its fictional renovation.

Also, ISleepnow, we have 3 tall buildings. haha

They announced a bigger budget, so I hope the sets look better than what we've been seeing; shiney wall panels that look like they'll fall over if you sneeze. And they need to make the plates on Thor's suit look like metal, not plastic. What are they doing with all that money!!!
