Hidden atop a secret mountain stronghold lies the League of Shadows and its fearless leader, Ra’s al Ghul. Together with his equally dangerous daughter Talia, he oversees a trained army of assassins with plans for global domination. But an uprising from within the league now threatens to shift the balance of power and sends Talia and her young son, Damian, fleeing to Gotham City. With assassins on their trail, Talia seeks the protection of Batman, who, unbeknownst to him, is the boy’s father. With his son in tow, Batman wages war against the villain Deathstroke and the League of Shadows, all while teaching his headstrong boy that one can’t fight crime by becoming a criminal. With help from Gotham’s finest, including Commissioner Gordon and Nightwing, Batman will soon discover that his son and most trusted ally are one and the same!

The voice cast features Jason O'Mara as Batman/Bruce Wayne; Stuart Allan as Damian; Morena Baccarin as Talia; Giancarlo Esposito as Ra's Al Ghul; David McCallum Alfred Pennyworth; Xander Berkeley as Kirk Langstrom (aka Man-Bat); and Thomas Gibson will play Deathstroke. Son of Batman comes out May 6th, 2014 on DVD, Blu-ray and for digital download and will have its world premiere at WonderCon over Easter weekend in Anaheim, Calif.

I'm not liking the look of it. I'm glad we have a cohesive DCAU2 now though.

It looks like YJ Nightwing because it's the same character designer doing these movies as did YJ.

I'm fine. Ya'll are nitpicking as usual. He'll be dope. The movie's about Damian anyway.

It's good to see Nightwing in blue. I am not a fan of him being in the red. So if by some chance Nightwing is in Batman/Superman: Worlds Finest I hope they use the blue suit.

I don't think this falls in line with their new animated universe though. I don't like his hair

The animation style from Young Justice is about as "anime" as I can handle... this looks ridiculous. Nothing against Asian people, but watching distinctly American superheroes in a manga style just doesn't jive for me... Although, the old Macross/Robotech animation might fit well. At least humans in Macross had normal proportions, and the detail was phenomenal... speaking of Macross, wasn't a Captain Harlot 3D anime film supposed to come out???

These movie usually are amazing, but what's with the body's being so freaken disproportionate? I really don't understand that. Why not just make it look good.

Which aspect of the Young Justice animation style is "anime" to you? I'm honestly curious.

It looks alright, it's just to me, something's lacking...I can't quite put my finger on it. He sort of looks out of place to me, and has a strange head.

I don't know whether it's because WB are trying to make him look so similar to YJ Nightwing but have radically changed the hair, or whether it's because he isn't meant to be in this storyline in the first place.

Still looking forward to this movie though.

@MrQuantumMechanic MASSIVE agreement. DC Animation is so damn good. Even the JLA Adventures..which is basically a rebooted Super Friends...was also very very fun (im old enough to have watched it as a kid).

Marvels recent Punisher/Widow toon is better then anything since Hulk vs. movies...and its still very 'meh'. How the F*&^ can you be owned by the biggest animation studio EVER and not have rocking cartoons..
