In 2005, director Christopher Nolan redefined the Batman legend with Batman Begins, starring Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader. A fresh, dynamic reboot of the franchise, Batman Begins explored the comic book hero’s origins and his evolution from billionaire Bruce Wayne to dark avenger who fights crime and corruption in Gotham City. A 2008 sequel, The Dark Knight, took those compelling, character-driven foundations and raised the stakes, pitting Batman against a deranged master criminal, the Joker, in an all-out war for Gotham’s soul. Now, the final film of Nolan’s trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, is 2012’s most anticipated film release. The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy tells the complete behind-the-scenes story of these three monumental films. Based on in-depth interviews with Nolan and all of the films’ key cast and crew—including cowriters David S. Goyer and Jonathan Nolan, cinematographer Wally Pfister, and more—the book reveals the creative process behind the epic Dark Knight Trilogy, supported by lavish art and never-before-seen photography.

The early screening ticket I have received email about is for July 13th. Yeah Friday the 13th, just adding to my fear that this movie will suck.

@Tajin88 - Lol, nice.

I think this could be one of the best CBM trilogies ever made to date. This is probably why I got high hopes for it ending in success. I hope so.

To sum up the 'art' aspect of this book, simply imagine a comic book page, remove all colour, style and unique-ness, reimagine the characters in Chicago and then chop up the art in a way that makes it incomprehensible while looking at it really closely

Marvel72 is to this comment section what Michael Bay is to the film industry, all show but no substance.

I don't think it's most anticipated comicbook film of the year for me!
Or most anticipated film of the year!!
Neither it's most anticipated film of all time for me!

For me personally; it's the Most anticipated thing ever in my life... Like in my whole life!!
I was never more excited / dying to see anything in my life but this film!!
Mainly after two great film:... BatmanBegins & The Dark Knight!
Can't help but imagine that my brain will explode to see the Awsomeness in TDKR!
Fully Trust Nolan to deliver another masterpiece!

After Avengers & now Prometheus turned out Awesome!!
Hoping for The Amazing SpiderMan to be good as well if not Amazing (a little worried about it cuz mostly it looks awesome but some scence are as cheesy as Raimi ones, but I'm excited)!
Then ofcouse TDKR!
After that LOOPER, The Master, Lawless, SKYFALL, Les Mesribles, The HOBBIT, The Great Gatsby & Django Unchained... this year is full Awesomeness!! Hopefully all turned out great!!

Thor isnt the only one, who is excited for TDKR! Here is what Emma Watson said:

“I’m actually excited to see Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.” “Forget the boys. I think she’s going to be really hot.”

@Tajin88 I was wondering what Emma's quote was. Looks like Hermione Grander and Thor Odinson are Nolanites.
