Is there going to be a season 2? Or are they just playing out the remaining episodes

I believe they're just playing out the remaining episodes.

@DrKinsolving Season 2 hasn't been announced but I doubt it will, sadly, because of how long it was put on hiatus and how quiet the network has been about the show.

@BatzFTWfan

I'm personally not a fan of Young Justice's animation. Felt a bit stale.

Ah, thanks, I was actually liking the show.... it's definitely a different interpretation but I thought it kept the essence of Batman, I liked the darker tone of the series too, was looking forward to seeing The Joker show up eventually....

but I'd love to see another show like BTAS

Seeing as I watch all the remaining episodes online already it just feels weird to me when people post about the unaired episodes.Never understood why they canceled this,Young Justice,Thundercats,and Green Lantern each had untold possibility if they kept going.Maybe Bruce Tim's project will last longer.

If it's animated Batman that's not by Bruce Timm, it's not safe from the chopping block.

@alamborn19 If it had a good story/cast/ETC, that would be awesome! There are things they can do animation that they can't do in live action and I think that they could adapt the comic way better than live action ever can (especially if they don't have to water it down for younger viewers). Sadly, I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon but I think WB is doing a pretty good job with the DC Animated Original movies right now.

I hope Bruce Timm's upcoming project last for at least 3 seasons but I'm nervous that it's going to get cancelled as soon as it gets really good. Cartoon Network will cancel anything that's not completely padded with unsophisticated humour.

@darkknight2149 Cartoon Network only cuts the programs that bomb in merchandise sales and viewer ratings. That's the story for Young Justice and Green Lantern: TAS, at least.

Beware the Batman wasn't bad. Not nearly as good as Young Justice, or Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes. 100 million times better than that crap on Disney XD right now. Avengers Assemble and tge Hulk show are just awful. Dumbed down garbage. I know it has to be enjoyable for a young audience, but shows like Batman TAS showed you can have an intelligent show that can be enjoyed by young and old. Avengers ETM was excellent, what a shame they dumped it for that crap :(

Well, it's a good thing people like us are around to support the shows that way they can exist and you can watch them for free. You're welcome, by the way

@TheDudeRusty a Supes show would be nice, if they do it right they should just do like the movie, supes show first with a few comeos then a JL show again that was a big hit.
