Batman-News have spotted a report revealing a new filming location for The Dark Knight Rises. We already know that they're supposed to be filming in other various locations in New York City, so I'd say this is extremely likely. What kind of epic action sequences director Christopher Nolan is cooking up though, we'll have to wait for! Here is an excerpt from their report.

Batman-on-Film.com is reporting that The Dark Knight Rises will be filming at Queensboro Bridge in New York City when the production arrives there later this year. Details are slim, but it’s apparently going to be used for a "big action scene".

Seems to be more big action set pieces in this one then the last two combined. Maybe Christopher Nolan was watching a lot of Michael Bay movies when he wrote this script (I kid, I kid). Looking forward to the TDKR.


Quick tangent:

Does anyone hate Batman-on-film as much as I do? The guy who run the site takes himself and Batman movies way too seriously. He acts like his site is the be all end all of Batman sites, but his site is horrible. Just to get to the main screen I need to click on 3 different screens (and he bitches about how people post spoilers just for hits). Also the layout is dated by at least 10 years, and all he does in any editorials is bash fanboys, like Christopher Nolan hand picked him to spread his gospel. I haven't even begun to address all the pop up ads that shitty site has.

I love Nolan movies as much as the next guy but it seems like the guy that runs loves him just a little too much, you know? Like instead of looking at porn he just surfs for pics of Chris Nolan to get off.

Then, he chastises every site out there that post set pictures, and claims they are the worst people in the world. Yet, he announces when new spy pics have hit the internet so his readers can "avoid" them. Isn't that really just advertising for the sites that have the pics.

Anyway, the site can be decent, if he brings it up to date, and gets his head out of his own ass.
