Over at COLLIDER.com someone has stumbled across a very cool TDKR teaser done with footage from the classic beloved animated series

I got a real kick out of it makes me wonder with the rite amont of time if a whole movie like Begins or TDK could be dubbed and put together this way.

I don't like the whole "epic conclusion to the dark knight legend" thing. He has only been fighting crime for maybe a year or so and he's already a legend. He hasn't really done much.

And I really hope that he doesn't get his back broken so soon, and I really don't want him to beat bane because he's not supposed to win since this is based a little bit off of the knightfall storyling. I kinda wish Bane wasn't in this one but I know hardy will do a good job.

@TayDee I feel you, bruv, I feel you. As soon as I heard that JettD60 thought that Bane was in the flick (which is always early confirmation), my heart sank.
We can only hope that there are hints that this film could possibly take place years after TDK (just as there were hints in the last one that years had passed, as James Gordon Jr. was a boy and no longer a baby).
That way we could have films set inbetween TDK and TDKR, for a new series.

I wish our live Bruce Wayne would be as big as depicted in the animated series. -_-
Instead we're stuck with pigeon man.

@DukeAcureds: That would be a good idea for the Batman franchise after Nolan's universe would have films that could take place in between Nolan's films. That would be an interesting concept. They should consider going down this road since I'm sure they don't want to waste time rebooting.

The one thing I hope for this movie is that they have an exstinsive viral campain like they did for TDK. That was the best marketing for a movie Ive ever seen. They even had a animated movie to bridge the gaps between movies.

DukeAcureds - I doubt it'll take place years after TDK, most likely maybe a few months to a year. In the next trilogy, it'll be best if they just continue the series and move away from the mob and league of shadows and focus!
