Robin: The Bird and The Brain is an impressive new web series that stands out in the plethora of Batman Fan Films by looking professional, and telling a dark detective story that is unique and striking. The costumes, although a tad cheap looking, stay true to tradition with the use of coloring and simple design. The dark, almost eerie tone the two young directors are able to develop in 18 minutes is captivating and makes for a very engaging viewing experience. The cinematography looks like it was inspired by Burton's Batman, as well as the Marvel Netflix shows, and always remains aesthetically pleasing and professional. There are references to classic episodes from Batman: The Animated Series, as well as modern day Batman run's, so there are plenty of easter eggs to look out for.

If you find 18 minutes to watch it, I highly recommend doing so.
