As we've already told you, Joker has massively exceeded expectations at the box office with a mind-blowing $900+ million haul. Now, $1 billion looks likely even without a release in China, and you have to believe that Warner Bros. is already mulling over more R-Rated, standalone DC movies.

For now, fans remain intrigued by the many complexities of Joaquin Phoenix's Clown Prince of Crime and, thanks to director Todd Phillips, we have another batch of behind the scenes photos. Not only do these highlight some key moments with the actor, but we also get to take a look inside the "joke book" Arthur Fleck carries around with him as he embarks on a career in stand-up comedy.

Honestly, these shots the filmmaker has been posting should be in a book of their own, but in the days of social media, it's great to see them shared online so soon and in such fantastic quality.

Needless to say, if you enjoyed Joker, you definitely need to check these out, and more images can be found by clicking HERE. For now, hit the "View List" button below to see the full gallery!

@Darkknight2149 - it's TDKR imagery with a bit of a Killing Joke angle. Philips can blow smoke out of his ass all he wants but this is a comic book movie full stop.

@knocturnalzen10 - Phoenix can do these roles in his sleep, I don't think the dude's mental health is at risk for playing a crazy clown for a couple of months.

@Spidey91 - it's very obvious he's off , and i was one of the one's chanting that he won't need to be acting when playing this role ..... but after actually watching him in it .... mannnn i felt he went further than expectations for me ...

For some reason, I found that scene where he's dancing and talking to himself with the gun to be the most disturbing in the movie.

I’m sorry, but this movie sucked. What a disturbing and insulting way to look at people with mental health issues. This was garbage and showed an elementary understanding of these issues. Gross.
